Abstract:This study was conducted in order to examine the qualifications of pre-school teachers working in kindergartens in teaching drama. The sample of the study included preschool teachers working in kindergartens in Sivas provincial centre . In the study, 98 pre-school teachers working in kindergartens were examined in view of the qualifications assumed to be present in the study group for teaching drama. A Drama Proficiency Questionnaire was developed by the researcher and the data were analyzed using SPSS 22.0 program The results of the study showed that the majority of the teachers working as pre-school teachers in kindergartens consisted of women aged between 18-28 years. It was also found that the participants' drama training was limited to the drama lessons they had in their undergraduate program, most of them were willing to participate in drama training courses, and the improvisation technique was the most widely known and most used technique among the study group.
