Abstract:In this thesis, Ozdoganlar Dwelling in Akdeğirmen Quarter, the city centre of Sivas, which is a qualified sample of traditional houses has come without deterioration is considered. The goals of this study are the investigation of current condition of the house, revealing the data of original version and research appropriate restoration processes for refunction and conservation of the structure. In this context, current condition of Ozdoganlar Dwelling is recorded, comparative study of the traditional houses in the province of Sivas is prepared, oral and written sources are reviewed and the original state of Ozdoganlar House is determined. A restoration project has been proposed by evaluating an appropriate function advice in respect to obtained data and needs of the dwelling and the neighborhood.
