Approximation by durrmeyer-type operators in compact disks

In this thesis, we investigated some approximation properties of complex Durrmeyer-type operators in compact disks studied by Sorin G.GAL and Vijay GUPTA. Moreover, the exact order of simultaneous approximation, attached to analytic functions in compact disks, is obtained. Afterwards, we put in evidence the overconvergence for complex Durrmeyer operators. Thus, approximation properties are extended from the real [0,1] inteval to compact disks in the complex plane.
