In the qualitative method, students were grouped according to their admission to faculty and controlled experiment was performed. And in the quantitative aspect of the study; within the scope of determining the opinions of academicians regarding the current statuses of students who attended by Special Talent Exam and Centralized Exam System, a questionnaire was applied to academicians of Visual Communication Design Departments of Faculty of Fine Arts in Turkey. In the study; percentage (%), frequency (f), t-test, descriptive analysis and content analyses were used. At the end of the study, it was observed that "YGS points" of students who attended by Centralized Exam System was higher than that of the students who attended by Special talent exam. On the other hand, it was revealed that skills of students who attended by Talent Exam was higher in comparison of "Design Class" grades. As there was no significant difference in comparison of "Art History Class" grades, only in two criteria (Success in theoretical lectures and In-class adaptation / participation in theoretical lectures) regarding theoretical lessons were the students who attended by Centralized Exam System found successful whereas students attended by Talent Exam were more successful in the remaining 11 criteria.
