Abstract:In this study, the control of servo motor is applied by using LabVIEW programme. Both velocity and position are controlled for servo motor. Position and velocity data are calculated by LabVIEW and the results have been transferred to PLC ( Programable Logic Controller) on OPC (Ole for Process Control) tools of KEPServerEX. When the control of two servo motor are realized, independent movement capability is supplied. Servo drivers are connected to PLC thanks to ProfiBUS communication network which run independent of each other. Real position data were transferred to LabVIEW programme with same communication prothocols. In this study, velocity and position control of servo motors which moved independently in two axial are realized. Using OPC tools in LabVIEW programme, communication is supplied with Siemens S7-300 CPU315-2 DP/PN PLC through KEPServerEX software. While KEPServerEX software communicates between PC and PLC, motor control and position data are transferred. Similarly, desired and real position data are transferred with the same prothocol. PLC has run AC Servo drivers using ProfiBUS prothocol according to command sending LabVIEW programme. Sorvo motors connected to S110 CU305DP servo drivers are controlled through control signals which are taken from PLC. SCOUT programme is used for chancing factory setting of AC servo drivers, uploading communication and position command. In addition, touch panel used for following run status and entering similar run commands. All PLC and touch panel software are realized in TIAPortalV13SP1. Position and velocity control is supplied for two axial by using both PLC and touch panel.
