Abstract:Businesses must compete against each other to survive. The global economy continues to grow, businesses cannot continue to compete in dependently but they must rely on their Supply Chain systems. As a result, companies have to scientifically examine design, implement and constantly develop Supply Chain management systems and appropriate models. Analytical and numerical models developed to date in addressing the Supply chain as a whole were insufficient. In 1996, the Council of Supply Chain developed cross-industry Standard for Supply Chain management Supply Chain Operation Reference (SCOR) model. The model includes a Standard description of management processes, a framework for relations between the Standard processes, Standard metrics to measure process performance, managerial practices and develops best in class performance or a Standard editing software features and functionality. There are many studies about SCOR model in the literature. But, in these studies, one of the application steps is focused or several practices about model metrics are examined. In this study, as distinct from the literature, after the execution of first step as supply chain performance assessment, second step is also implemented and project suggestions are advised to enhance supply chain performance. TOPSIS is used to prioritize the developed projects. As a result of the implementation of the priority projects of those which suggested, improvements to the SCOR metrics calculated and performed to determine to what extent the objectives of the firm. In case of the implementation of more than one projects improvements are obtained at shipping performance and supply chain respond time. On the contrary, product costs and gross income are effected adversely. In the event of implementation of all projects, it is indicated that objected metric values can be obtained.
