Abstract:

Adequate endometrial thickness is very important for succesful clinical pregnancy in IVF treatment. In the literature there are studies of measurement of endometrium, and the values less than 7mm are broadly accepted as thin endometrium. Angiogenesis and various chemokines and cytokines have an important role in implantation. G-CSF is used for treatment of implantation failures that resistant to treatment. In the study the endometrial thickness, angiogenesis, apoptotic and proliratif factors were evaluated after G-CSF enjected to 24 rats. In G-CSF groups the endometrial thickness were increased. Also this enjection improved angiogenesis, apoptotic and proliferatif factors which are important for implantation. The influence of G-CSF was seen more in thin endometrium, but also there was seen an improvement in normal endometrium. G-CSF can be beneficial for implantation failure treatment. However more study should be done in literature for finding out the effect of G-CSF on endometrial receptivity.
