Abstract:On this thesis study, Mehmet Duruk dwelling which is in Bucakalan Town, Akseki District, Antalya Province, is one of unique samples which has come without deterioration from rural architectural works up to now has been subject . The goal of this study is to research appropriate restoration processes and functions in order to be the structure protected and to hand it down to next generation as examining current case of the structure and restoration opportunities. Within the concept of this study, the subject ' s eigenstate has been researched by comparison studies and historical researches as examining current case of Antalya Province, Akseki District , Bucakalan Town and the dwelling. A restoration project that obtained results have been evaluated, it has been evaluated with a new function during passing to application of the criteria as designating it has been proposed
