Abstract:

The persons who are involved in professional activity in road transport, carrying either passenger or freight, need to have a certificate of professional competence. As by Road Transport Vocational Education Regulation number 4925 of June 10th,2003, as a condition for the exemption, the persons who have three years? experience before Feb., 25, 2006 have a right to get the Certificate of Professional Competence directly. The others should get education and they should succeed at the exam of Ministry of Transport in order to have their certificates. In this study, a model is proposed to give vocational education for road transport, which is currently given by traditional classroom learning, by internet aided e-learning. In this model, co-education, distance learning and e-learning are used to give vocational education.
