Abstract:It is more difficult to manage the growing data traffic with the developing technology than before. It is very important to provide security in wireless communication, to design large antenna systems in the most ideal way, to prevent interference. In such cases, using an electromagnetic filter on the surfaces is an effective solution. These electromagnetic filters, which have selective characteristics according to the frequency value, are called frequency selective surfaces. The design examples of the fractal structure of the frequency selective surface with wide use area offer an ideal usage with multi-band usage in single layer. In addition, fractal frequency selective surfaces are also used at low frequencies in wireless communications. In this study, two different designs were proposed by the Apollonius circles and their simulation results were examined. According to the results, one of the proposed schemes can be used in multi-band studies while the other has a stable structure that stops the band in wireless communication.
