Abstract:

This study focused on Turkish native speaker's grammatical mistakes when they learn Arabic language. During the study the papers that wrote by the studens who learn Arabic language in Gazi University, Arabic Teaching Department; Ankara University, Faculty of Theology; Kırıkkale University, Arabic Interpreting Department and Military Academy. 283 students participated in the implementation of the research. It was translated in cases that are diffucult to understand in the theoretical part of the thesis. Grammar topics which are in Turkish, but it is not in Arabic or which are in Arabic, but it is not in Turkish are discussed under separate headings. Incorrect statements are written in bold and the correct forms of them are written on the side. The incomplete written statements are written in brackets in some cases. It has seen many wrong in some sentences. In these cases only the mistakes made on that subject has been corrected and others have been left as it was. According to the results of the research applications, Turkish native speakers who are learning Arabic language have difficulties in learning the Arabic grammar. It has been found that grammar mistakes made in Arabic grammar usually at word science, hurüf al-jarr, gender, noun phrase, adjective clause and negative transfer. There have been some suggestions in order to avoid from the mistakes which are made in Arabic during learning it at the end of this thesis.
