Abstract:It is a hard process to set up, manage, and conduct the technology of GSM (Global System for Mobile) which has a complicated system. Network management and optimization is an economic factor having a significant role because of limited sources. Since the large network structure of base station, the question that is how many frequency channel and which frequency will be used in each cell should be responded. The usage model of frequencies should be decided by considering co-channel and adjacent channel interference and the process of handover based on this question. This is also is a compulsive factor for prediction of capacity evolution and to increase quality of system in the long term. In this study, frequency planning of broadcast control channel of GSM network base stations has been implemented using data fusion with genetic algorithm.
