Abstract:

The importance of the Arabic language is increasing day by day. Especially publications for the Arabic language teaching in Turkey has increased in recent years. In this study Arabic in newspapers located in the printed media is discussed frequently used terms in the field of security and terrorism.The aim of this study is the use of terms in the field of security and terrorism in Turkish and Arabic and reveal the importance of understanding and to identify equivalent. In the study, Turkish equivalents of terms which are scanned from printed newspapers reach the Arab press has been identified. Thus, it is aimed to prevent the ambiguity in the use of these terms.The study consists of four parts. The first part of the aim of this study was focused on the importance and methods. The second part is mentioned in the press language and terminology. Turkish equivalent in terms of security and terrorism in the areas identified in the third section was compiled. In the last part of the study results and recommendations were presented.
