Teachers' organizational identification perception according to different demographic variables

Abstract:

The purpose of this thesis is determine the teachers' level of organizational identification according to some variables. This research is kind of quantitive research. The universe of this thesis was consisted of 6924 teachers who works for National Education Ministry in Ankara Yenimahalle town. The sample of this research was consisted of 364 teachers who were selected by simple random sampling method. The Scale of Organizational Identification (Mamatoglu, 2008) was used for data collecting. The findings of thesis showed that female teachers have stronger organizational identification level than male teachers. This finding is statistically meaningful. There is no statistically meaningful relation between teachers' school type, education level, rank and their organizational identification level.
