Abstract:The aim of this study is to show the effect of ecological footprint concept on 7th class primary school students' on their attitude towards environment subjects and on their success while being taught of Human and Environment units of science and technology courses. The sampling of this study is constructed from the 80, 7th class students of Emniyetçiler Primary School and Gazi Prinary School, in Yenimahalle district of Ankara province. The study was realized during 2009 2010 academic year. In the research, Attıudes Towards The Envıronment Scala and achıevment towardas the envıronmental subjects of scıence and technology courses scala were used as data collection tools. According to the model of control-group pretest-posttest design with experimental pattern, Attıudes Towards The Envıronment Scala and achıevment towardas the envıronmental subjects of scıence and technology courses scala were implemented 2 times asVat the beginning and at the end of the implementation. Statically evaluated outcomesVbrought out that the education done with the ecological footprint didVnot have meaningful impact on student success but have meaningful impact on student attitudes towards envıronmet.
