Abstract:

In this study, system requirements were developed and design decisions were made for the domestic development of the underwater acoustic release system used for the recovery of the equipment and devices fixed with the help of vaults underwater or on the surface of the water. In this study, a receiver unit called an acoustic release system and a transmitter unit that will activate this system are designed by using underwater acoustics technologies. Mechanical structures were created for the units and interfaces were defined. The design decisions made for the requirements were supported by analysis. Alternative materials for production have been identified. At the end of the study, it was evaluated that the acoustic environment parameters, which are dependent on time and place, are effective in acoustic communication, and that the system receiving unit should be resistant to pressure and mechanical structure to carry the determined load
