Abstract:

Highly quick booms at the internet and communication technology bring the important developments regarding to faster and easier communication in rapidly globalized world. One of the crucial applications in this framework is of course WiMAX technology. In today's world WiMAX, which does provide efficient communication opportunity, gains importance via its wireless characteristic that ensures easy ways in usage. What makes WiMAX more preferable in this context is the capability of its band appliance in reaching at the users quite far away. Known as IEEE 802.16 standards at 3.5 GHz frequency, omni directional antennas, which are wireless digital communication system for metropolitan network area, is the basis of this thesis research. In this respect, the electric fields and magnetic fields of these antennas are scrutinized in details, byusing the MATLAB. As a consequence, the most appropriate data is indicated in accordance with the proper angels, comparing the findings with each others just after the examination of electric and magnetic fields. The analysis, in line with this performance, aims to offer the best values for further studies in this subject. The aforementioned antennas are restricted as 30, 60 and 90 degreed angels and 20 km, 30 km and 40 km ranges with respect to the consistency. The programme MATLAB is chosen for the simulating option.
