Will make it possible to respond to this need with the development of vocational and technical secondary education programs. Accordingly in Turkey, strengthening project the system of vocational education and training (SVET), modular training system applications are being applied in vocational and technical secondary schools since the 2006?2007 academic year. Teacher assessment about modular system is very important to learn if the application is going forward or not and to learn if the application is maintaining the system. This study was carried out in order to determine how teachers study at vocational and technical secondary education institutions of metal technology field evaluate the modular training system applications. At this working process, questionnaire was prepared with the help of investigated documents about metal technology field curriculum and applied modular system. The prepared questionnaire was applied to metal technology teachers who work in industrial vocational high schools in Samsun province and districts. As a result of analysis of applied questionnaires with the help of SPSS (Statiscial Packet Social Scienses) program, conclusions reached and recommendations are made about modular training system applications in the metal technology field. According to the results, the teachers in the field of metal technology indicated that there are partially deficiencies at framework curriculum, competency statements, course information forms, module information pages, process analysis forms and information and measurement tools in modules. As for the elimination of deficiencies; should be more cooperation between the sector and field experts, appropriate courses should be established in the area, module application activities should be increased, legislation arrangements should be made, equipment needs of schools should be eliminated, occupational studies in moduler system and program should be increased. If these proposals are materialized, it is considered to achieve the specific goals and objectives. Although there are deficiencies in modular training system, teachers who taken the survey reported positive opinions about training system.
