Abstract:

In this search, the effect of a computer support education material on students' attitudes and success in Biology lesson has been conducted. The experimental part of the search performed in spring term of 2012-2013 academic year. The research has been performed with 16 students in 10-B class of a private High School in Ankara Yenimahalle and 16 students in 10-B class of a private High School in Ankara Çankaya with a total of 32 students. The students, who have similar grades, have been divided to draw into two, experimental and control groups. The control group was educated traditionally while computer support ededucational material made by means of Activinspire program was applied to experimental group. In order to gather the data, "Biology Success Test" was use for measuring knowledge of students and ". Data gather from the search was analyzed with "t test" and evaluated by SPSS program. Survey results have shown that students in experimental group have significant development in the academic success to wards Biology Lesson compared to the students in control group. (according to p=0,05). Also the survey was carried out an 200 students and 100 teachers.As a result of this analysis, some health problems were seen caused by computer supported education.Also it was detected that teachers need in-service education for computer suppoted education.
