Abstract:

This research is important due to the fact that it will enable higher education students to interpret their own design at a critical level.This research will enable the students to evaluate themselves In terms of the implementation of Pop sanat and other art movements.With this aim,the 4th grade students being educated in The Art Education Department of Gazi University Gazi Education Faculty were included in this research.It was conducted with two groups of about 20 people in total as experimental and control groups. In the qualitative dimension of this study prepared with the mixed method, observation form with assessment and interviewing techniques were used and the data obtained were analyzed with content analysis method. As for the quantitative dimension of the study, experimental designs of final test pattern with control group model was used.In order to determine whether there is a significant difference between the experimental and control groups, nonparametri Mann-Whitney U test of T test was used. When the results of the study were evaluated generally, it was seen that the participants had the view of that Pop Sanat had been reflected to the graphic design courses.The designs of the students in the experimental group having Pop Sanat classes had more Pop Sanat features,compared to the students in the control group
