Abstract:

A syllabus consists of all the activities that aim to realize the goals of national educations of which are done for individuals by an educational instution. The services like the activities except education, the celebration of private moments, trips, short courses, guidance and healthy services are involve this definition. We have to work with a plan and program in our century and have to keep up with new techniques and methods. This thesis aims at developing a syllabus in accordance with the standards defined in Common European Framework and Moodle Learning Management System supported for the preparatory class of Gazi University, Gazi Faculty of Education, Arabic Language Teaching Department. After the introduction, in the first chapter the program development concept is explained from many various aspects, also The Common European Framework which describes what knowledge and language skills learners have to acquire in order to be able to communicate effectively taking the cultural context into account and internet supported education and Moodle learning management system is dealt with In the second chapter, data collection and analyze is presented. Here, in order to In order to determine the level of students who graduated from preparatory class, a level determining questionnaire of Common European Framework and Can Do statements and an interest checklist have been administered for determining the subjects of course book. Data gathered have been analyzed. In the third chapter, the suggested syllabus is studied from many aspects. In this chapter, the preparatory class objects, language structures and testing and evaluation process are dealt with. A sample unit has been developed in line with the suggested syllabus. Finally, in the light of those discussions, some recommendations have been suggested for researchers.
