One of the most important and hard subjects of human resources management is personnel selection process. To select the right man for the right job depends on firm needs defined rightly and forming a system helping to select the right man among the alternatives. Personnel selection problem is a hard multicriteria decision making problem which is required to evaluate more than one alternatives in selection process. In this study, personnel selection process of a firm was invastigated and an alternative selection method has been develeped using PROMETHEE sequencing method. In this method, criterions and alternative candidates has been determined and priority squences of alternative candidates has been determined by calculating the priorities with PROMETHEE mehtod. With this new method, the right man has been chosen among the alternative candidates providing the essential criterions and the costs of not chosing the right man in firms and subjective evaluations in selection process has been tried to minimize.
