The sampling of the study is constituted by 442 prospective teachers studying at three state universities in Central Anatolia in years 2, 3 and 4 as of academic year 2012-2013, who have studied linear algebra in primary education teaching department. The study model is review model and the Concepts of Linear Algebra Achievement Test and Scale of Attitudes towards Linear Algebra developed by the researcher are used as the tool for measurement. Data from the scale and the test were entered into the SPSS pack program and t-test and single-factor variant analysis (ANOVA) and correlation analysis were applied at the stage of analyzing the data. When the findings arising as a result of the analyses were examined, it was found that the attitudes of the prospective primary education math teachers and their field language skills did not vary significantly according to the variants of gender, form of education and study of the prospective teachers. However, there were significant differences according to the variants of class level and age. According to the findings, the students studying in year 2 or students between the ages of 17-19 had more positive attitudes towards linear algebra course, with higher level of learning the concepts of linear algebra skills. While the attitudes of the prospective teachers did not vary significantly according to the variant of the secondary education institution graduated from, their learning the concepts of linear algebra skills did vary significantly. It was found that the prospective teachers in general had negative attitude towards linear algebra course and their learning the concepts of linear algebra skills was low.
