Abstract:
This research aims to examine the folk culture elements in the words of folk songs
compiled from Tokat province in terms of being an educational tool. For this purpose, the elements of folk culture compiled from Tokat province were examined and interpreted as an educational tool. The findings are tried to be explained according to the su b-problems of the research. The subjects such as the cultural elements contained in Tokat’s folk songs
(folkloric elements), the open and hidden meanings of cultural elements, the words of folk songs, the ways in which the members of society were transferrtransferred from the educational
perspective, and the expressions of the folk songs about education were discussed.
