Abstract:

In this study, AISI 304, AISI 430 stainless steel AISI type 1050 steel butt welding has been applied and its effects on the microstructure and mechanical properties of these materials were investigated application. The combined stiffness of the specimen, tensile strength, and are compared with each other microstructural features have been examined. Flash-butt welding parameters are kept constant during the test run. The results obtained in this study, using the flash-butt welding AISI 304, AISI 430 and AISI stainless steel are intended to identify the source of data for use by manufacturers, who in 1050 steel. Research at the end of AISI 304 and AISI 1050 material resources in the high hardness values (HAZ), while sources in AISI 430 stainless steel hardness have been found to experience a decline. AIA was found that the stiffness values of duplicate samples where the material source 1050, and improve the tensile strength.
