Abstract:
This reserch in considering the necessity of music educators and musicians to know and dominate their own culture, general characteristics of Adana folk songs, instruments used from local folk songs, stories of Adana folk songs and those who contributed to Adana region folk songs (bards, musicians, researchers) were examined and obtained. Compiler, source person, note-taking and authority, measure, sound width, the subject was analyzed and interpreted in terms of. In thein troduction, the historical, socio-cultural structure of Adana, folk dances, folk dresses and artists from all known fields are mentioned.
