Abstract:

Transferred from past to present their historical background, their experiences, thoughts and feelings of the resulting values is both individual and social beliefs as well as giving direction to all of life. Thanks to these owned values that effect societies, with the hope for the future with these values again. Our values may be adopted for young people through the course of Turkish Language and Literature. Both the artist and student of literature and art meet the good and bad, beautiful-ugly concepts such can detect within an aesthetic framework should be seeing. So young minds are capable of thinking, questioning and making analysis will be trained. Language is a tool that is passed on to future generations of the cultural heritage of society. Language is a means of expressing thoughts and feelings, communication, transferring social values, and also provide an important contribution to the formation of a strong bond between people. Cultural elements of community transmitted to future generations by language. Language training is aimed at people learning the native language correctly. It is also within the boundaries of the Turkish Language and Literature course. The cause of the concentration on Nurullah Atac is that he is an author of our language and has revealed important ideas in the field of education. Atac whom explains his toughts about literature education, refers to shed light on information to youth, researchers and teachers. With this research, we obtain information about how it should be new and modern education system in accordance with the opinion of Atac. It is considered that this research will be resource for researchers and teachers who are interested in the study of literature. In the first part, the importance of this study on related ideas and purpose are described in the literature education of Nurullah Atac. The methodology of the study process, limitations, assumptions are described. The research results obtained findings were reviewed. In the second part, providing preliminary information about the author and since it helps to understand their thoughts about the life and works of literary education Nurullah Atac were investigated. The third chapter is the main subject of this thesis. Poetry meaning, poetry benefits, divan poetry, folk poetry, including sub-headings are described as Atac's thoughts on poetry. With support for the young poet has emphasized as the importance given to future generations. Novels, stories, plays, fairy tales, literary history and criticism-trial interview translated starting from thinking about ideas about Atac's prose is described. Research conducted around Nurullah Atac name has usually focused on his language. In this study, Atac's language understanding, language, culture and civilization relations and renovation work has been examined on the basis of language issues. The part that forms the core of our thesis is heading the investigation of Nurullah Atac's thoughts about education. With sub-headings of Turkish and Western Literature education and native language education on Atac's thouts are described. Text gathered together on the basis of the opinion of the teaching profession and thus how his thoughts on the training were revealed. Finally, the collected Nurullah Atac advices to young people to contribute to the field of education, intended to shed light on the way of young people path.
