Abstract:
ZnCo2O4 nanoparticles were synthesized using the sol gel method. Structural characterization of the ZnCo2O4 nanoparticles was performed using X-ray diffractometer (XRD) and scanning electron microscopy (SEM). ZnCo2O4 was doped with pure, 1% and 5% by weight gelatin and the films were coated on the n type silicon crystal using spin coating method. Capacitance (C-f) and conductance (G-f) values of Al/Gelatin-ZnCo2O4/nSi/Al Schottky diodes were measured in the 1 kHz-1.5 MHz frequency range, with 0.2V steps in the 0-2V range, at room temperature. In addition, capacitance (C-V) and conductance (G-V) measurements were performed at room temperature, in the (-5V) – (+5V) range, with 20 kHz-200 kHz steps in the 30 kHz-1 MHz frequency range. By using these values, the series resistance (Rs) values were calculated. The corrected capacitance and corrected conductance values were determined depending on the voltage and frequency. According to the obtained results, it was found that the capacitance and conductance values increased as the doped ratio increased. It was observed that Rs values decreased with increasing frequency depending on the frequency.
