Abstract:In this thesis, the Bernstein type and Beta type polynomials are investigated. First some basic concepts and lemmas used in this thesis are given. Later definitions of three different Bernstein type polynomials, their generating functions, bilinear and bilateral generating functions and their applications are obtained in separate sections. And then, recurrence relations with and without derivatives for these polynomials are found. In the final section, Beta type polynomials are introduced. In similar ways as in the previous sections, generating function, bilinear and bilateral generating functions for the Beta type polynomials and their applications are obtained, and later recurrence relations with and without derivatives for these polynomials are also provided
