Abstract:
The aim of this study is to evaluate the unique and qualified Shepherd's School located in Keçiören district of Ankara province. The aim of the study is to document the current state of the building, to propose a restoration for conservation, and to transfer the cultural heritage to future generations by re-functioning. Within the scope of the study, the current state of the building and the changes it underwent were documented, the immediate surroundings of the building were researched, a comparative study of similar educational buildings in Ankara was made and the original state of the building was determined. As a result of the study, the data collected were evaluated and a restoration and re-functioning proposal which enable the building to function as an Agricultural Museum with the determined physical interventions was prepared.
