Abstract:

Gear boxes, shafts, and ball bearings have an important role in the machine industry. If gear wheels are to be used they need to be mounted. Mounting is done by rolling bearings. Mechanically, rolling bearing house calculations have an important place in machine design. In this study, the calculations of gears, ball bearings, the life of ball bearings were done and a ball bearing selection program was developed in VisualBasic 6.0 for spur gear, helical gear and bevel gear systems using the calculations. With the help of data obtained from this program by composing different gear, axle, and ball bearing load arrangements, static analysis is done for these compositions via ANSYS program, it is seen that the results of the program and analysis are compatible. Multiple regression analysis is done for spur gear parameters (power, revolution per minute, module, teeth number, distances and load), anova graphics results are introduced by help of obtained results and parameters are specified, which are necessary for optimum gear and ball bearing system arrangement.
