Abstract:
In the study, it was aimed to determine the effectiveness of simultaneous prompting offered to pre-school children with visual impairments through online mother teaching in helping children to gain movement skills Multiple probe model between behaviors with probe phase, one of the single-subject research models, was preferred as the research model for this purpose. The research was carried out with two preschool children who were affected by visual impairment and their mothers. The mothers included in the study were selected among individuals who had not systematically taught a skill before and had not received any instruction on the simultaneous prompting method. Teaching, probe and monitoring sessions of the study were held in the children's own homes. The skills and method teachings of the mothers were carried out by the researcher by establishing an online connection with the mothers at the appropriate time intervals. In the study, application reliability data were collected for the teaching of mobility skills by the simultaneous prompting method of mothers. In addition, in the study, efficacy data were arranged by the mothers for the performances of their children in mobility skills. In addition, social validity data obtained from mothers and fathers were included in the study. As a result of the research, in line with the data obtained from the mothers of the subjects participating in the research; It has been determined that teaching with simultaneous prompting method by mothers is effective in teaching walking skills with upper hand and forearm protection technique, trailing a wall, and walking skills with lower hand and forearm protection technique. In the study, it was concluded that the mobility skills gained

in the study with the simultaneous prompting method were continued by the children on the 7th, 14th and 21st days after the practice sessions of the mothers. According to this result, it can be concluded that the teaching of mobility skills, which was aimed to be taught in the research, was fully realized. In the study, generalization sessions were held in different rooms of the children's homes, in the garden and on the street. According to the generalization result, it was seen that the children were able to generalize the mobility skills they learned in different environments. Considering the results of the study, it has been suggested that hands-on studies for teaching different mobility skills with simultaneous prompting can be done online.
