The International Sociology of Sport Association (ISSA) has announced the planned future events.

To convene international congresses, seminars, or symposia on aspects of the sociology of sport is one of the missions of the ISSA.

Every year "The World Congress of Sociology of Sport" is organized by the ISSA as its main event. Here are the future ISSA World Congresses that scholars can plan to attend:

-The ISSA announcement(s) for the online/virtual events in 2024 will follow.

-ISSA2025 will be held in Seoul, Korea, in June 2025. More details will follow.

-ISSA2026 will be held in Jyväskylä, Finland. More details will follow.

ISSA World Congress is usually held in June, however, this may change according to the situation in the host country and other circumstances. The exact dates are to be announced.
