Developing Smart Cyber Security Solutions for Smart Grids
Smart grids are critical infrastructure that rely on advanced communication and control technologies to deliver reliable and efficient electricity. However, this increased reliance on technology also makes smart grids more vulnerable to cyber attacks. Recent developments in cyber security research have led to the development of new technologies and approaches that can be used to protect smart grids from cyber attacks.
In this project, we will exploit recent developments in cyber security to develop solutions for protecting smart grids from cyber attacks. Specifically, we will use artificial intelligence (AI) to develop intrusion detection and mitigation techniques that can learn and adapt to new threats at various levels of the cyber security design. We will consider the scalability, affordability, and ease of deployment of our solutions. We believe that our solutions will help to make smart grids more secure and resilient to cyber attacks.
