Proje Özeti
Multilayer fully-metallic (no substrate) ultra-wideband (no resonance) quasi-optical grid polarizers made with photolithographic technology are proposed for the frequency band of 0.01-1.0 THz. Due to a special design, the polarizing efficiency is high and proportional in dB to the number of layers in an ultra-wide frequency band. Using the same technique, grating-based multi-zonal vortex-beam converters of MM waves will be produced. Their operation is based on the zonal control of both the azimuth- and radius-dependent phase and polarization of transmitted waves according to the required structure of generated beams. A combination of both the phase-plate and grating-based converters is also considered.
