Adsorptive differential pulse voltammetric determination of aluminium was carried out in haemodialysis concentrates in which aluminium was present as 1,2-di-hydroxyanthraquinone-3-sulfonic acid (DASA) complex. Accumulation potential was -0.85 V towards Ag/AgCI in NN-bis-(2-hydroxyethyl)-2-aminoethane-sulfonic acid (BES) buffer of pH 7.0 with 60 seconds accumulation time. Under these conditions aluminium can be determined in the range of 1.0 - 20 ng/ml. The limit of detection was 0.5 ng/ml.
