Özet

In this present work, a novel Organic Rankin Cycle (ORC) configuration is proposed and set up under the subcritical and transcritical regimes. The system is settled for a low-energy heat source cogeneration plant using an ejector and an internal heat exchanger as an energy recuperator. Thanks to the integration of the ejector, new thermodynamic parameters have appeared and made it possible to improve the performance of the system. Besides, unlike the compressor, the ejector has the advantage of compressing the gas thermally without consuming energy. Furthermore, the energy study of the simultaneous production of electricity and cold is done for managing the operation of a cogeneration plant. Considering the environmental impacts, a comparative analysis is also performed for new refrigerants R124, R236fa, R1234yf and R1234ze, because of their low ozone depletion potentials (ODP) and low global warming potentials (GWP). These two parameters ensure that the chosen fluids are less harmful to the environment and therefore they help to preserve the ecosystem. Furthermore, they are more cost effective compared to the fossil fuels with limited reserves
