Özet

Many countries have an abundance of solar energy resources, and also have emerging issues with tail-pipe pollution from a growing number of personal vehicles. The use of photovoltaic (PV) generation and electric vehicles (EVs) seems to be an optimal choice for managing carbon footprint. This paper presents the grid-tied PV system with an integrated EV battery and its power flow control strategy. The optimal method studied in this paper is to coordinate EV battery and PV power to improve the power system performance. The system is modeled and simulated in PSCAD environment to verify the system performance. According to the obtained results, it can be concluded that the system studied in this paper has a great potential for the future PV based EV charger applications.
