Abstract

Our study has evaluated the first 37.5 hour postmortem concentrations of hypoxanthine (Hx), potassium (K+), chloride (Cl-), and sodium (Na+) in vitreous humor (VH) samples retrieved from 65 cases (whose postmortem time intervals (PMIs) and causes of death were known) between April 28. 2004 and August 17. 2004 at the Institute of Forensic Medicine, Ankara Group Chairmanship, Morgue Department.
