Özet

Vascular balloon dilation catheters were negotiated through the lumen of the malpositioned or migrated stent. The stent was withdrawn to the correct position after inflating the balloon within the lumen. When the balloon was inflated, frictional force between the balloon and stent surface allowed the stent to be withdrawn and repositioned. The technique was also used for retrieval and repositioning of stents whose ends lie against the luminal wall.
