© 2021 IEEE.In this paper, the design and analysis of a 2.4 GHz Yagi-Uda type antenna has been presented. The antenna is modelled and analyzed using the Ansys HFSS electromagnetic simulation software. Cardboard with a dielectric constant of 1.78 is used to fix the antenna elements on the same plane such as the director and the reflector. The designed and implemented antenna resonates at 2.35 GHz band with a bandwidth of 430 MHz. In addition to this, the effects of dipole, reflector and director lengths on the antenna performance such as gain and reflection coefficient are explored.
