Abstract

Low temperature CO oxidation activity of the seven catalysts (50/50 Ag/Co 3O 4, 50/50 Ag 2O/CeO 2, 50/50 Co 3O 4/CeO 2, 25/25/50 Ag 2O/Co 3O 4/CeO 2, Ag 2O, CeO 2, Co 3O 4 in molar ratio), which were prepared by using co-precipitation method and calcined at 200°C for 3 hr, were studied. All of the catalysts had good activity for the CO oxidation. 50/50 Co 3O 4/CeO 2 catalyst gave the 100% conversion between room temperature and 200°C. This is an abstract of a paper presented at the 7th World Congress of Chemical Engineering (Glasgow, Scotland 7/10-14/2005).
