Özet

The job s/he chooses as a starting point for her/his career for a young workforce graduated from college with certain qualifications is crucial in ensuring the correct placement and sustainability of the workforce. From this point of view, along with the human resources department of a large-scale business, to determine the tendency of newly graduated students to select a business area, a study was conducted with four human resource specialists. In this context, three alternative working areas were selected for the new graduate student. It was included in the selection problem by determining the criteria that would be effective in selecting a job and providing job satisfaction. These selection criteria were derived from factors included in Herzberg's Dual Factor Theory. In the solution of the selection problem, a two-stage integrated structure was used. Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) method was used to gain criteria's weight and Hesitant Fuzzy VIKOR method was used for determining the order of the alternatives which are the next step after obtaining the weights. The reason for using AHP method in achieving the criterion weights can be expressed as that AHP is a simple method and gives consistent results. In the same way, the HF-VIKOR solution approach is used for ordering the alternatives, with the thought that they will act hesitantly when making this decision which will affect the lives of the new graduates.
