Özet
Flexible and low-cost gas sensors are highly desirable for real-time CH4 monitoring in safety and environmental applications. Here, a chemiresistive CH4 sensor based on a flexible PEDOT:PSS/KB/PVA composite film deposited on an interdigitated gold electrode is presented. The composite combines the high conductivity of PEDOT:PSS with the porous architecture of KB and the mechanical properties of PVA, yielding a uniform, bendable sensing layer with excellent structural integrity. Comprehensive characterization via morphological and structural analysis confirmed homogeneous dispersion of components, enhanced electrical conductivity, and thermal stability up to 150°C. The sensor demonstrated at 110°C a sensitivity of ∼7% to 100 ppm CH4, rapid and reversible response/recovery times (109/68 s), and robust cycling stability under bending. Selectivity studies against NH3, CO, CO2, and NO confirmed a pronounced preference for CH4, attributed to synergistic charge-transfer interactions at the PEDOT:PSS/KB interfaces. These findings highlight the potential of the PEDOT:PSS/KB/PVA composite as a scalable platform for bendable, selective, and energy-efficient CH4 sensing in flexible environmental monitoring devices.
