Abstract

Congenitally corrected transposition of the great arteries (cTGA), a rare type of congenital heart disease, is characterised by atrioventricular and ventriculoarterial discordance in which oxygenised blood in the left ventricle is sent from the right atrium to the pulmonary artery and deoxygenised blood is sent from the right ventricle to the aorta. Pregnancy causes hemodynamic alterations that may change the course of the disease. In our case report, we evaluated a pregnant patient with corrected transposition of the great arteries who delivered successfully.
