Abstract

This paper is the translation of the important parts of the reviews of two books on intercultural communication. The pieces of information concerning the contents of the books, which Deal (2007) and Smith (2006) report, and their comments on the contents are directly translated into Turkish. After the translations, the concepts and principles in the reviews that attract attention are given, and it is maintained that these concepts and principles can contribute to the field of intercultural communication.
