Abstract

Objective: Hepatitis B Virus (HBV) chronic infection is related to the age of the infected person. Chronic carriage most likely occurs due to HBV infection in infancy. Therefore, it is important to prevent infection in infancy. The efficacy of hepatitis B vaccine in preventing HBV infection in children has been proven. This study aimed to determine the incidence of HBV infection after routine Hepatitis B vaccination program in our country.
