Özet

Objective: Sexual health is one of the components of health also it is a factor that among affecting women's health. For this reason, this study was conducted to determine women's sexual function. Material and Methods: This study was conducted as a descriptive for determination of women's sexual function. Study sample consisted of 238 women's who is volunteer to participate. Data collected by a questionnaire which prepared for determination of women's descriptive characteristics and female sexual function index (IFSF). Percentages, one sided variance analysis and Tukey tests were used for assessment of data. Results: Mean age of women's was 35.16±8.42 years and mean number of living children were 2.17±8.55. It was determined that women's 45 age and over had low point from IFSF subgroups and they had lower point than other age groups (p< 0.05). Number of child was one of the factor affecting IFSF scores. Scores of women's who have not child in libido (13.15), orgasm (11.10) and total IFSF scores (31.15) were significantly higher than the others (p< 0.05). Women's with menstrual cycle, libido (11.11), orgasm (10:37) and the total score means (29.23) were significantly higher than who had no menstruation (p< 0.05). Conclusion: In our study, it can be said that the mean IFSF scores were generally low, furthermore IFSF scores were decreased in women's who low status, and elder women's than others.
