The Secure and Flexible Networks Research Group conducts studies in the fields of software defined networking (SDN), network function virtualization (NFV), internet of things (IoT) and next generation wireless communication technologies (5G / 6G). These studies focus on developing high-performance, cost-effective, resource-efficient, flexible, adaptable, and scalable network management and security solutions. Since 2018, the group has been performing R&D activities within the scope of the TÜBİTAK 1001 project titled "Fog computation-based complex event processing and valuable content extraction for the internet of things".
