The purpose of this study is to examine the views of parents about the protection of children from sexual abuse who are disabled and non-disabled children. Participants divided into two groups. A total of 33 mothers, 23 of them have disabled children and 10 of them non-disabled children. The current research was designed as a qualitative study and used a semi-structured interview form. The obtained data were analyzed using thematic method. Findings presented under two theme's first child's sexual abuse prevention skill's and mothers' attitude's and the second perception's about sexual abuse towards their child. At the first theme, most of participant's said that their child knows private part of the body with correct terminology, would protect themselves against abuse involving sexual contact and report to a trustworthy person after abuse. And at the second theme, many of participants expressed that have prevention practice for child sexual abuse, the abuser can be the person who is familiar or stranger and risk of sexual abuse towards their child is high. In addition data demonstrate that more than half of mothers have high self-efficacy about giving prevention education to their child and nearly all of the participants have a positive attitude towards their children's participation in sexual abuse training. In the current study, we also examined differences between the two groups' view. And reach that mothers who have disabled children as distinct from who have non-disabled children said that their children confuse their private body parts' name or their children nothing know about private parts name. Mother's of disabled children stated that prevention skills showed their children would vary according to whether the abuser was familiar with children or not and the abuse was high intensity or not. This situation increase's risk for sexual abuse to disabled children. In addition, mother's of disabled children was more frequently said their children can't discriminate appropriate and inappropriate touch than mothers of normally developed children. These differences show that disabled children more vulnerable than normal peers to sexual abuse.
